Every fireplace, pot belly oven, fire box and stove requires an approved hearth or appropriate flooring to allow your fire to operate efficiently and safely. ​Approved hearths must include:
  • Correct dimensions
  • Correct tile depth
  • Fireproof underlay
  • Correct distance from combustibles
Jaye of All Trades can install a pre-built hearth or build and install a custom hearth flush with your existing flooring in line with the requirements for Council approved installation.

*Note: Jaye of All Trades cannot install your fireplace chimney or flue, but can assist a licensed gas plumber with the install.
